Each individual has a role to play and a contribution to make to the harmony of the whole. This process starts with the transformation of the Montessori Teacher, who needs to have a vision of their own cosmic purpose in order to understand and better direct the adolescent’s work. Montessori describes that each human being has two purposes. The first is serving self, family, and the direct community, of which most people are aware. Life becomes incomplete and the world out of balance when the second is not met. The deeper second is the cosmic purpose of serving humanity and mother earth. In relation to cosmic law and order, one finds a place of influence on the greater whole. Through the ‘holy’ cosmic tasks relating to talent, influence, character, and mostly choices humans take their place of responsibility in the greater wheel of life. The third plane is about starting to develop a cosmic vision for a purposeful life.
