Valorization of the personality

Definition

Valorization of the personality refers to the developmental process through which a young person becomes conscious of competence, independence, self-worth, and a sense of contribution to society by undertaking purposeful activity, exercising their personal freedom from within to make contributions to their community. In Citizen of the World (Montessori, 2019), is described as an emergent awareness of one's value through independence, action, and social relations.
